Bruce went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and one walk Thursday against Detroit in Cleveland's record-breaking 21st consecutive victory.

The outfielder's first-inning homer matched Detroit's run total in the historic 5-3 win. Since coming over from the Mets on Aug. 9, Bruce is slashing .253/.343/.495 with five bombs and 18 RBI over 27 games. On the year, the veteran has 34 homers -- matching his career high set as a Red in 2012 -- and 93 RBI.
