Josh Lucas: Cut loose by Baltimore

Lucas was released by the Orioles on Monday, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

Lucas appeared in nine games this season with the big-league club, posting a 5.74 ERA and 1.34 WHIP with a 16:7 K:BB over 15.2 innings this season. Matt Wotherspoon was also let go Monday.
