Steckenrider earned the save Tuesday after holding the A's scoreless across 2.1 innings. He allowed two hits and no walks while striking out one batter.
Steckenrider continued a successful August after shutting down his opponent once again. The right-hander has not allowed any runs across his last eight appearances, picking up three saves in that span. For now, Steckenrider is expected to continue to share save opportunities with Paul Sewald, at least while Diego Castillo (shoulder) is out.
