Rodriguez is in the 60-man player pool that will report to the Mariners' summer camp, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
The promising 19-year-old appears highly unlikely to make the Opening Day cut, but he'll have a chance to continue his development during both summer camp and as part of a pool of 30 players not on the active roster once the regular season begins. Rodriguez's stint last season at High-A Modesto, where he slashed a jaw-dropping .462/.514/.738 across 72 plate appearances, certainly whet the appetite of both the organization and those holding him in dynasty formats, but his .154/.267/.154 slash over 15 Cactus League games this spring serves as a reminder he's still in need of further seasoning.
