Mariners' Mitch Haniger: Cleared for non-baseball activity
Haniger (groin) has been cleared to begin light, non-baseball activity, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
Haniger is still at least a week away from resuming any type of baseball activities, but this is nonetheless a step in the right direction for the outfielder. Until Haniger is further along in his recovery, he'll likely remain without a concrete timetable for his return.
