Haniger (oblique) is still experiencing soreness and isn't ready to begin a rehab assignment, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
The Mariners had initially hoped that Haniger would begin a rehab assignment last Tuesday, but those plans were put on hold after his oblique injury acted up during a batting practice session. It's not considered a serious setback, but fantasy owners who were hoping to have the outfielder back from the disabled list this week will have to keep waiting.
