Dugger cleared waivers Tuesday and was outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma.

With a 7.40 ERA and a 13.7 percent strikeout rate in 45 career major-league innings, Dugger was always a strong bet to pass through waivers unclaimed. He'll remain in Mariners camp as a non-roster invitee but is now an even longer shot than before to break camp with the team.
