Marlins' Martin Prado: Collects hit in rehab appearance

Prado (hamstring) started at third base and went 1-for-3 in a rehab appearance for Double-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

Prado was pulled out early in what was the second game of his rehab assignment, but that was the plan all along with the Marlins aiming to ease him back into playing nine innings following a five-week hiatus. It's not yet clear how many more rehab games the 33-year-old will require before being activated, but once that happens, he'll likely take back his everyday role at third base from Derek Dietrich.
