Strickland signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Mets on Monday and will be included as part of the team's 60-man roster pool.

Though Strickland won't be added to the Mets' 40-man roster, his inclusion in the pool of available players will make him an option out of the bullpen when MLB resumes its season in late July. Strickland was previously cut by the Nationals in March after surrendering 12 runs and posting a 15:8 K:BB in 21 innings with the club last season after coming over in a deadline deal with the Mariners.
