Mets' Jacob deGrom: Deals with blister in win over Angels

DeGrom (3-1) threw seven shutout innings in a win against the Angels on Friday but dealt with a blister in his final frame, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The blister was on deGrom's ring finger. It wasn't enough to force him out of the game, as he finished the seventh inning on his 106th pitch, and it didn't sully the brilliance of a start that included nine strikeouts and just four hits allowed. That said, we'll have to watch throughout the week to make sure the blister doesn't linger -- consider deGrom day-to-day for now.
