Mets' Jed Lowrie: Not ready for rehab assignment
Lowrie (knee/hamstring) is working on improving his left-handed at-bats before he gets sent out on a rehab assignment, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
The switch hitter continues to be in a bit of a holding pattern of baseball activities but no game action. The hamstring injury was to his left leg and he is not quite ready to generate strong, consistent contact with that front foot.
