Mets push RP Vic Black off 40-man roster

The Mets have outrighted reliever Vic Black, who pitched for them the last two years before losing part of this season to a groin injury.

Black has been relegated since his return to Triple-A Las Vegas, where he has compiled a horrid 1-6 record and 6.40 ERA with a whopping 28 walks in 32 1/3 innings.
