Reid-Foley (elbow) is nearing a rehab assignment, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Reid-Foley underwent Tommy John surgery last May before then re-upping with the Mets on a minor-league contract in December. He could be an option for the major-league bullpen mix sometime in July, assuming all goes well on the farm.
