Reid-Foley was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

The 25-year-old delivered five scoreless innings across two appearances since being promoted April 22, but he'll lose his spot on the major-league roster with Jacob deGrom (lat) battling an injury. Jordan Yamamoto was recalled in a corresponding move. Reid-Foley figures to rejoin the Mets before long after pitching well during his first stint with the team.
