Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies and is considered day-to-day with a forearm injury, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Marte received precautionary X-rays following Saturday's game against the Phillies after getting hit by a pitch in the eighth inning. He stayed in the game and went 2-for-2 with one triple and three RBI in the loss. The X-rays came back negative, so while Marte appears to have avoided a major injury, he'll take a seat for Sunday's series finale. He could return to the lineup for the Mets' upcoming three-game series versus the Nationals that begins Monday.
