Mike Foltynewicz: Elects free agency

Foltynewicz elected free agency after clearing outright waivers Saturday.

Foltynewicz made 28 appearances (24 starts) during his first season with the Rangers and posted a 5.44 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 139 innings. However, the 30-year-old will now be free to seek out other opportunities heading into the offseason.
