Nationals' Jhonatan Solano: Signs with Nationals

Solano signed a minor league contract with the Nationals on Wednesday that includes an invite to spring training.

Solano spent the majority of last season in Triple-A, where he hit just .228/.271/.311 in 55 games. He's spent time in the Washington organization previously, but appears to be a long shot to make the Opening Day roster out of the spring.
