Adon has been added to the Nationals' 60-man player pool, Jessica Camerato of MLB.com reports.

The 21-year-old right-hander was part of the Nats' 2016 J-2 class and got his first extended action stateside last season, posting a 3.86 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 90:44 K:BB in 105 innings for Low-A Hagerstown. He's likely headed for the bullpen in the long run, but given his mid-90s fastball and potentially plus slider, the club will continue developing him as a starter for now.
