Ross (elbow) threw two simulated innings at the Nationals' extended spring training complex Friday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Ross has been out since undergoing surgery to remove a bone spur from his right elbow in early March. He's taking steps in the right direction but still needs a few weeks to build up to a starter's workload.
