Nationals' Josh Lucas: Gets minors deal from Washington

Lucas signed a minor-league contract with the Nationals on Monday.

Before being released by Baltimore earlier this month, Lucas logged 29 appearances between Triple-A Norfolk and the majors, posting a 5.74 ERA in 15.2 innings with the latter club. He was assigned to Triple-A Fresno and will function as organizational relief depth for Washington.
