Soto went 2-for-4 with a double in Friday's loss to the Giants.
While the Nationals only managed six hits in total on the night, Soto still reached a big career milestone in the third inning as he laced his 500th career hit -- among active players, he's the sixth-youngest to achieve that mark after Bryce Harper, Mike Trout, Miguel Cabrera, Manny Machado and Albert Pujols. The 23-year-old Soto is slashing .278/.451/.500 through 16 games this season with three homers, three RBI and 11 runs scored.
