Nationals' Rafael Bautista: Sent to Triple-A

Bautista was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.

The 24-year-old stole 56 bases at Double-A Harrisburg last season, and his .282 batting average and .344 on-base percentage in 543 at-bats (607 plate appearances) will add another level of interest. Bautista isn't necessarily a prospect worth chasing in fantasy, but continuously improved play could put him squarely on the radar for a bench spot in future seasons, based on his speed if nothing else.
