Nationals' Tanner Roark: Shelled in no-decision versus Marlins

Roark allowed six runs on six hits and two walks across 2.2 innings in Monday's no-decision against the Marlins. He did not record a strikeout.

Roark didn't allow a baserunner through the first two innings, but he was blitzed for six runs as eight men reached base in the third before his removal with two outs. The abrupt ending to this outing is a bit more alarming in light of his recent results, as he now has an 8.02 ERA across 21.1 innings in his last four starts. Despite his recent regression, Roark has still allowed more than four earned runs just three times all season. He'll look to lower his bloated 4.88 ERA on Sunday against the Reds.
