Robles isn't starting Friday's game against the Pirates.
Robles will be out of the lineup for a second straight day since he's been working extensively with hitting coach Darnell Coles to tweak his swing, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports. Manager Dave Martinez expects Robles to start Saturday and Sunday, but Lane Thomas will start in center field and bat eighth Friday.
