Difo got the start at second base Wednesday, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run.

Nats manager Dusty Baker is making good on his promise to keep Difo in the lineup on a regular basis as a super-utility player now that Trea Turner is back off the DL, but Difo's hot bat is making that decision an easy one. The 25-year-old has hit safely in eight straight games and 25 of 28 in August, pushing his OPS on the year up to .749.
