Feliz was released by the Brewers on Monday.

After clearing waivers, Feliz was let go by Milwaukee, as the veteran reliever was unlikely to accept a minor-league assignment. The 29-year-old started the season as the Brewers' closer, but he struggled to find success, compiling a 6.00 ERA and 21:15 K:BB across 27 innings. Although no team was willing to claim what was left of his $5.25 million contract, he'll likely catch on elsewhere for cheaper, given his previous major-league experience.
