White Sox minor leaguer Nestor Molina had to leave his start with Double-A Birmingham Monday due to a shoulder injury, MLB.com reports.
Molina left the game after allowing three runs over 3 2/3 innings with a walk and four strikeouts. He has given up 10 runs over 12 1/3 innings with Birmingham, but does have 13 Ks.
Molina is looking to have a bounce-back season after going 6-11 with a 4.55 ERA last year over 23 appearances and 22 starts between Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte.
