Sisco isn't starting Thursday against the Red Sox.
Sisco has seen a fair amount of playing time between the catcher and designated hitter roles this season, but he'll get a day off for the series opener against the Red Sox. Dwight Smith will rest his legs as the designated hitter with Pat Valaika starting in left field.
