Orioles' Craig Gentry: Brought back to majors

Gentry's contract was selected from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday.

Since being sent back to the minors, the veteran outfielder has found some success at the plate, slashing .275/.345/.382 during his time with the Tides. He'll head back to the big leagues to offer reserve outfield depth. To make room for him on the active roster, David Washington was optioned to Triple-A and Zach Britton (forearm) was transferred to the 60-day DL.
