Wright will have his shoulder soreness examined by team doctors Thursday after feeling pain while pitching in Wednesday's game, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.

The reliever, who's unavailable Thursday, threw two innings but had three days off before that, so manager Buck Showalter was a bit concerned with that development. Wright's availability as a middle reliever for the near future will be determined sometime in the next few days.
