Orioles' Nick Ciuffo: Contract selected by Baltimore

Ciuffo (undisclosed) had his contract selected by the Orioles on Friday.

Ciuffo missed the early part of the season for Triple-A Norfolk with a fractured hand, and he's appeared in only 17 games since making his season debut in June. He also missed a month between July and August with an undisclosed injury. The 26-year-old will provide depth at catcher behind Pedro Severino and Austin Wynns.
