Severino went 3-for-4 with a solo home run Friday in a loss to Kansas City.
The backstop starred for Baltimore in a game during which the team's offense was mostly quiet. Severino racked up half of the Orioles' hits, and he produced one of their two runs with an eighth-inning solo homer to left field. The three-hit effort was Severino's second of the season, and it snapped an eight-game slump during which he batted .100 (2-for-20) with nine strikeouts.
