Orioles release SS Everth Cabrera

The Orioles released shortstop Everth Cabrera on Saturday, per CSNBaltimore.com.

Cabrera was designated for assignment on June 5. He struggled mightily this season as he managed to hit just .208 in 29 games before a foot injury landed him on the disabled list.
