Vavra isn't starting Saturday's game against Tampa Bay, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Vavra has started exclusively against right-handed pitchers in the big leagues this year, and he'll get a breather with southpaw Shane McClanahan on the mound for the Rays. Adley Rutschman will serve as the designated hitter while Robinson Chirinos starts behind the plate.
