LeBlanc threw four innings of live batting practice Monday at Oriole Park, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

While he has not yet been added to the 40-man roster, the expectation is that LeBlanc will open the year in Baltimore's rotation. He and Alex Cobb each threw four innings in this controlled environment and should gradually continue to build up their workloads during summer camp. The 35-year-old lefty has had an ERA of 4.50 or higher in two of the last three seasons and logged a below-average 17.3 percent strikeout rate in 2019.
