Cordero is out of the lineup Monday against the Cubs.

Cordero will see his streak of eight straight starts come to an end after a rough weekend series in Milwaukee during which he went 1-for-12. With a .472 BABIP on the season, there's likely still more batting-average regression to come for Cordero, but it's unlikely to jeopardize his standing as the primary center-field option until Manuel Margot (calf) returns from the disabled list. Matt Szczur will spell Cordero in Monday's series opener.
