Soto went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 2-1 win over Washington.

Soto's seventh-inning solo shot traveled an estimated 429 feet and accounted for the decisive run in the low-scoring contest. It was the star outfielder's second long ball since joining the Padres via a trade with the Nationals on Aug. 2. Soto has reached base safely in each of his 17 contests with San Diego and is slashing .305/.461/.492 with 14 runs, four RBI and a 17:10 BB:K since the trade.
