Padres' Wil Myers: Ties career high in homers
Myers went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Friday's 7-1 loss to the Rockies.
It was the slugger's 28th home run of the season, matching last year's career-high mark. It has been a rollercoaster ride of a season for the 26-year-old, but a strong September (.354 with four homers and 11 RBI) has put Myers' 2017 numbers (.244/.327/.465) right on par with last year's breakout totals (.259/.336/.461).
