Anderson was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Anderson was recalled from Lehigh Valley prior to Thursday's game and will return there after not appearing in the series finale. The 25-year-old has appeared in two games and has allowed five runs over six innings across his three major-league stints this season.
