Kennedy (2-1) picked up a win after blowing a save against the Cubs on Monday. He surrendered one run on one hit while striking out two in one inning.

The closer gave up a game-tying home run to Matt Duffy in the top of the ninth before the Phillies walked it off in the bottom of the inning. Kennedy has now blown consecutive save opportunities and three of his last five while posting a 7.05 ERA over his last 7.2 innings. If the team were to make a change at the back end of the bullpen, Hector Neris or Jose Alvarado would be candidates to take over at closer.
