Kennedy earned the save Thursday after tossing a scoreless ninth inning against the Nationals. He allowed one hit and no walks and did not record a strikeout.

Aside from allowing a double to Josh Bell, Kennedy successfully finished off a must-win game for Philadelphia. The right-hander has been on point this season, going 6-for-7 in save chances since joining the Phillies and 22-for-24 overall.
