Phillies' Roman Quinn: Unlikely to play again this season

Manager Pete Mackanin said Quinn (oblique) is unlikely to play again this season, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Quinn was scheduled to test his oblique Thursday and must have still felt pain in the area. The Phillies have nothing left to play for, so shutting him down is the right move. He will get a chance to compete for a starting job next spring.
