Wheeler (finger) will start Wednesday's game against the Mets, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
The 30-year-old's status has been up in the air since he was scratched from his weekend start due to an issue with the nail on his middle finger, but he completed a bullpen session Monday, played catch Tuesday, and has been cleared to rejoin the rotation Wednesday. Wheeler has a 2.47 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 36:9 K:BB through 51 innings during his first season in Philadelphia.
