Kela (shoulder) remains limited to playing light catch, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Kela was first cleared to begin a throwing program a little over a week ago, but he's apparently made little to no progress during that time. It remains uncertain when the Rangers will feel comfortable turning him loose for mound work, so until that happens, it will be difficult to pinpoint a timetable for his return from the 10-day disabled list. He's been sidelined since Aug. 3 with a strained right shoulder.
