O'Grady, who is part of the 60-man player pool that will report to the Rays' summer camp, still has an opportunity to garner a spot on the Opening Day roster, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The offseason acquisition from the Reds organization opened eyes in Grapefruit League play with a .348 average (8-for-23), and although he'd been optioned to Triple-A Durham back on March 26, he'll now have a chance to continue making a case for a spot on the 30-man Opening Day roster. O'Grady will face stiff competition for an outfield role from the talented Randy Arozarena during summer camp, and there's always the possibility both players are with the team when the regular season begins.
