Glasnow (elbow) will likely require Tommy John surgery next week, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Glasnow suffered a partial UCL tear in mid-June, but he threw off a mound Friday and was optimistic that he would be able to return sometime in 2021. While Passan reports that there's a "small chance" doctors will find a path toward rehab rather than surgery, the right-hander would miss most or all of the 2022 campaign if he ultimately undergoes the procedure.
