Fister (5-8) gave up six runs on six hits and a walk over just four innings in Wednesday's loss to Oakland. He struck out four.
After a sterling four-game run that saw Fister put up a 1.50 ERA and 0.73 WHIP, he was due to fall back to earth, but he did so particularly painfully in this one -- at least as far as his fantasy owners are concerned. Fister will have a chance to bounce back against the Orioles on Monday; he held them to two runs over seven innings Aug. 27.
