Duran is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's tilt against the Twins, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.
Duran has seen his playing time cut since Adam Duvall returned, although he had started each of the previous three contests. He'll grab a seat for the start of this one as Duvall plays center field and Masataka Yoshida handles left.
