Red Sox's Mookie Betts: Has hand in all runs Saturday
Betts went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 3-1 win over Tampa Bay.
No Boston run occurred without Betts being involved in some way. He hit a solo home run in the second inning, singled home Andrew Benintendi in the sixth, then touched home plate after Rafael Devers' double later in the sixth. Betts has experienced a dropoff from his MVP-like season in 2016, but he remains the most important hitter in Boston's lineup. He leads the team in RBI (90), runs (93) and stolen bases (24). He's also tops among the team's full-season players in slugging (.451) and OPS (.794).
