Red Sox's Travis Shaw: Unlikely to play Tuesday

Shaw is unlikely to play Tuesday when the Red Sox return to action after Monday's day off due to a minor hand injury, WEEI.com reports.

Shaw was seen leaving Fenway Park after Sunday's win over the Indians, in which he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts, wearing a brace on his left hand. A team source confirmed the young third baseman is feeling soreness on the webbing between the thumb and forefinger of his left hand. If he's unable to go Tuesday, expect Josh Rutledge to start at the hot corner.
